Clinical Coder in Canterbury, Kent - 4+ week contract

Are you familiar with Medical Terminology and worked within Admin roles in General Practice - These sessions may be for you.

GP surgery in Kent is currently recruiting for a Clinical Coder for a 4+ week contract. Full-time hours would be preferable but we are flexible and open to part-time hours too.

GP surgeries opening hours: 8am till 6pm
This position is on-site.

Start Date: Immediate


- Supporting the Data Quality Team to ensure all external and internal patient correspondence is acted upon at the appropriate level and accurately coded in the patients medical record
- Ensure all incoming patient correspondence is scanned, acted upon and correctly coded to ensure the integrity of patient records
- Accurately summarise patient records

Essential Requirements:

- Medical Terminology
- Previous Primary Care / GP surgery experience
- Familiarity with EMIS
