Senior Quantity Surveyor - Education projects
This established main contractor is part of a number of education frameworks throughout London and the South East and they have an immediate requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team from their North London office.
For this Senior Quantity Surveyor role you will have worked within main contracting building for tier 2 contractors working on a mixture of Traditional and D&B contracts. You will be based from their office full time with site visits required.
The projects you will be involved with initially as a Senior Quantity Surveyor will be education, schools projects and public sector works. The values will range from £1.5m to £10m with the occasional bigger projects. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for 2-3 projects depending on their size. With this contractor you will work on refurbishment contracts with the occasional new build.
This Senior Quantity Surveyor role requires specific experience of education projects up to £10m and you will also have a recognised Quantity Surveying qualification. You will also be able to live and work in the UK.

*Freelance Site Managers Required For Prime Residential Refurbishment *
A specialist contractor having successfully been awarded 4 new prime residential projects, will require freelance Site Managers for each scheme starting in October.
The 4 projects are as follows:
1.Victoria - Full property refurbishment with structural alterations and fit out. £1.5m build cost, 6 month duration.
2.Victoria - refresh with furniture, fixtures and equipment. £1m build cost, 10 week programme.
3.St Johns Wood - Full property strip out, site set up and investigations, full refurbishment and fit out. £4m, 1 year programme
4.East Finchley- 20 week prime residential fit out. £2.5m
Experience required:
Able to demonstrate full responsibility from start to finish on prime residential refurbishment and fit out experience on project values from £1m - £4m
Carpentry trade ideally.
Current SMSTS and 1st Aid
Typical responsibilities include:
Supervision and direction of the subcontractors
Health & Safety control
Collaborating with Architects and Designers Working Drawings, Client Approvals

Quantity Surveyor - Milton Keynes
This main contractor specialises in industrial and retail projects across England and they have been hugely successful in securing a number of new projects which adds significantly to their turnover. Therefore they have immediate requirements for Quantity Surveyors to join their team to be commercially responsible for these newly secured industrial projects.
For this Quantity Surveyor position you will be fully commercially responsible for a £8m new build project which consists of 2 new building and 5 small industrial units and associated works. The project is due to start on site in 4 weeks.
As a Quantity Surveyor you can expect to work in a busy market building industrial, datacentres and retail projects which are typically steel frame construction, they are required by their end clients to build in a variety of locations so site visits will be essential.
For this Quantity Surveyor role you will have worked on industrial projects before and have a building background of new build and refurbishments projects which include steel frame package experience. You will also have a UK Quantity Surveying qualification.
