Job Type: Full-time (07:30 – 16:30, Monday to Friday) with potential for overtime and weekend work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project manage, supervise joinery and fit-out projects from conception to completion, ensuring high quality workmanship.
- Lead and inspire a team of skilled carpenters to ensure productivity and motivation whilst maintaining a positive working atmosphere.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Uphold the highest standards of workmanship, ensuring all joinery and fit-out elements meet specifications and industry regulations.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and expenditures, ensuring projects are delivered within the allocated budget constraints.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Joinery Site Manager offering experience in high end residential and commercial fit out projects.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Strong understanding of joinery and fit-out processes, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations and a commitment to ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and relevant NVQ.

A well-established Central London fit out contractor is looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis to strengthen the commercial team.
 
This is a long-term hire. While the role supports current workload, the business can appoint immediately regardless of backfill or future project wins.
 
The first project is a negotiated two-stage commercial fit-out in the City, circa £12m, with ongoing opportunities across a strong Central London pipeline.
 
The Role
• Reporting into a visiting Commercial Manager
• Managing subcontractor packages, procurement and commercial change
• Hands-on delivery role covering valuations, variations, CVRs and final accounts
• Working closely with site teams, consultants and client-side stakeholders
• City-based project with further Central London schemes to follow
 
What they’re looking for
• Project-level Quantity Surveyor (or strong Intermediate stepping up)
• Main contractor background in commercial fit out or refurbishment
• Confident managing subcontractors and package-level commercial delivery
• Solid understanding of JCT contracts and two-stage procurement

A leading Central London fit out and refurbishment contractor is looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to support the existing commercial team on a major West End commercial refurbishment.
 
This is a technically demanding scheme combining structural reconfiguration with a high-quality Cat B fit-out, delivered within a live Central London environment. The role is offered on an above-market day rate, reflecting the pace, complexity, and volume of commercial change.
 
You’ll be site-based, reporting into a site Commercial Manager, running subcontractor packages and managing a high volume of variations on a flagship project.
 
The Role

- Project QS role on a major West End commercial refurbishment
• Supporting an established site-based commercial team
• Running and owning subcontractor packages end-to-end
• Managing a high volume of variations and commercial change
• Core duties include procurement, valuations, CVRs, cost reporting and subcontractor accounts
• Working closely with site, design and consultant teams in a live project environment
