A principal contractor with a long tradition within the heritage refurbishment sector has a superb new opportunity for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead and develop their commercial team.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing a team of 12 commercial staff, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards, while driving commercial performance across the business.
For the right candidate, there is a clear pathway to a future Commercial Director role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of commercial professionals
- Oversee cost control, procurement and contract administration
- Ensure projects are delivered profitably and efficiently
- Manage commercial risk and financial reporting
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager or Managing QS
- Strong leadership and commercial management experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- RICS/CIOB qualifications desirable
