Groundworks, RC Frame & Civils | London | Freelance or Permanent or Part-time
I'm working with a growing specialist contractor looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support their groundworks, concrete frame and civil engineering projects across London.
With projects valued up to £6m, they're flexible on the type of person they bring in – permanent, freelance Ltd Co. and even part-time arrangements can be considered for the right individual.
The Role
- Commercial management of groundworks, RC frame and civils packages
- Procurement and subcontractor management
- Valuations, variations and applications for payment
- Cost reporting, forecasting and commercial control
- Managing projects through to final account
- Working closely with the Commercial Director and operational teams
What they're looking for
- Quantity Surveyor with groundworks, concrete frame or civils experience
- Specialist subcontractor experience advantageous
- Strong understanding of valuations, variations and cost control
- Commercially sharp and comfortable taking ownership
- QS through to Senior QS level considered
